What is the Mitsubishi 4D56 engine?

The Mitsubishi 4D56 is a 2.5 liter (2,477 cc) diesel engine with an inline 4, SOHC, 8 valve layout with a turbocharger. It makes 100 kW (136 HP) and 314 Nm of torque, and was built from about 1996 to 2016.

It was used in the Mitsubishi L200 K74 (1996 to 2006), Mitsubishi Pajero V20 (1991 to 1999) and Mitsubishi Delica L400 (1994 to 2006). What we list: Mitsubishi 4D56 diesel engines for L200, Pajero and Delica.
