Which cars came with the AAA engine?

The AAA was fitted to the Volkswagen Golf 3 VR6 (1992 to 1998) and Volkswagen Corrado VR6 (1992 to 1995).

Names alone can mislead. Markets and model years used different versions, so always read the code on your engine block or send us your VIN.

The AAA is also popular for engine swaps. If you plan to fit it to a car that did not come with it, you will need mounts, wiring and an engine computer that suit the swap.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
