What is the Volkswagen AAA engine?

The Volkswagen AAA is a 2.8 liter (2,792 cc) petrol engine with a vR6, SOHC, 12 valve layout with no turbo (naturally aspirated). It makes 128 kW (174 HP) and 240 Nm of torque, and was built from about 1992 to 1998.

It was used in the Volkswagen Golf 3 VR6 (1992 to 1998) and Volkswagen Corrado VR6 (1992 to 1995). What we list: VW VR6 2.8 and 3.2 engines for Golf, Corrado and R32.
