What is the Chevrolet LC9 engine?
The Chevrolet LC9 is a 5.3 liter (5,327 cc) petrol engine with a v8, OHV, 16 valve layout with no turbo (naturally aspirated). It makes 235 kW (320 HP) and 454 Nm of torque, and was built from about 2007 to 2013.
It was used in the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2007 to 2013) and Chevrolet Suburban (2007 to 2014). What we list: GM 5.3 LM7 and LC9 truck engines, the most common Silverado and Sierra replacement.
Autowerke Engines sells used LC9 engines from our yard in Hamburg. Before a unit is listed, the yard checks the engine code against the listing, writes down the parts fitted to it, seals every opening and photographs the real engine you will receive.
Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
