Which cars came with the VQ35HR engine?

The VQ35HR was fitted to the Nissan 350Z HR (2007 to 2008) and Nissan G35 HR (2007 to 2008).

Names alone can mislead. Markets and model years used different versions, so always read the code on your engine block or send us your VIN.

The VQ35HR is also popular for engine swaps. If you plan to fit it to a car that did not come with it, you will need mounts, wiring and an engine computer that suit the swap.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
