Which cars came with the VQ35DE engine?

The VQ35DE was fitted to the Nissan 350Z Z33 (2003 to 2006) and Nissan G35 (2003 to 2006).

Names alone can mislead. Markets and model years used different versions, so always read the code on your engine block or send us your VIN.

The VQ35DE is also popular for engine swaps. If you plan to fit it to a car that did not come with it, you will need mounts, wiring and an engine computer that suit the swap.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
