Which cars came with the ISB 5.9 24v engine?

The ISB 5.9 24v was fitted to the Cummins Ram 2500 (1998 to 2002) and Cummins Ram 2500 (2003 to 2007).

Names alone can mislead. Markets and model years used different versions, so always read the code on your engine block or send us your VIN.

The ISB 5.9 24v is also popular for engine swaps. If you plan to fit it to a car that did not come with it, you will need mounts, wiring and an engine computer that suit the swap.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
