Which cars came with the FA20 engine?

The FA20 was fitted to the Subaru BRZ ZC6 (2012 to 2020) and Subaru GT86 (2012 to 2020).

Names alone can mislead. Markets and model years used different versions, so always read the code on your engine block or send us your VIN.

The FA20 is also popular for engine swaps. If you plan to fit it to a car that did not come with it, you will need mounts, wiring and an engine computer that suit the swap.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
