What should I know about the Porsche M96 engine?

Porsche M96 engines for 996 and Boxster. We list: M96.03 (3.6 liter (3,596 cc), 239 kW (325 HP), 2002 to 2005).

With one version listed, the code is easy to match. The engine computer and the wiring must still suit your car.

The photos on each listing show the actual engine, not a stock picture. The yard checks the code, records what is bolted on, and seals the openings before the engine is offered. Ask the desk for more pictures of any listing. We are happy to show the stamp, the ports and the ancillaries before you decide.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
