What should I know about the BMW M73 engine?

BMW M73 5.4 V12 engines for the E38 750i and E31 850Ci. We list one version: M73B54 (5.4 liter (5,379 cc), 240 kW (326 HP), 1994 to 2001).

Because there is only one version, the code is easy to match. You still need the engine computer and wiring that suit your car.

The M73 family was used in chassis E38 and E31. Each engine in the yard is inspected in Hamburg. The code is matched to the listing, the parts on the engine are recorded, the openings are sealed and the real unit is photographed.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
