What is the Toyota 2TR-FE engine?

The Toyota 2TR-FE is a 2.7 liter (2,694 cc) petrol engine with an inline 4, DOHC, 16 valve layout with no turbo (naturally aspirated). It makes 120 kW (163 HP) and 246 Nm of torque, and was built from about 2004 to 2023.
