The Toyota 1KD-FTV (172 HP) is a 3.0 liter (2,982 cc) diesel engine with an inline 4, DOHC, 16 valve layout with a variable-geometry turbocharger. It makes 126 kW (172 HP) and 343 Nm of torque, and was built from about 2000 to 2008.
