What is the Toyota 1JZ-GTE engine?

The Toyota 1JZ-GTE is a 2.5 liter (2,492 cc) petrol engine with an inline 6, DOHC, 24 valve layout with twin turbochargers. It makes 206 kW (280 HP) and 378 Nm of torque, and was built from about 1991 to 1996.
