What is the Subaru EJ257 engine?

The Subaru EJ257 is a 2.5 liter (2,457 cc) petrol engine with a flat 4, DOHC, 16 valve layout with a turbocharger. It makes 227 kW (310 HP) and 407 Nm of torque, and was built from about 2004 to 2021.

It was used in the Subaru Impreza STI GD (2004 to 2007), Subaru WRX STI GR (2008 to 2014) and Subaru WRX STI VA (2015 to 2021). What we list: Subaru EJ255 and EJ257 turbo engines for WRX and STI.
