What is the difference between the Mercedes-Benz OM651 engines?

Mercedes OM651 2.1 diesel engines for Sprinter, C-Class, E-Class and Vito. We list: OM651 (2.1 liter (2,143 cc), 150 kW (204 HP), 2008 to 2018); OM651 (2.1 liter (2,143 cc), 100 kW (136 HP), 2008 to 2016).

The versions share a basic design but differ in power, induction, electronics and emission rules. The right one is the one your car was built with, or the one your swap kit is made for.

The photos on each listing show the actual engine, not a stock picture. The yard checks the code, records what is bolted on, and seals the openings before the engine is offered. Ask the desk for more pictures of any listing. We are happy to show the stamp, the ports and the ancillaries before you decide.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
