What is the difference between the Honda F20C engines?

Honda F20C and F22C engines for the S2000. We list: F20C (2.0 liter (1,997 cc), 177 kW (240 HP), 1999 to 2005); F22C (2.2 liter (2,157 cc), 178 kW (240 HP), 2004 to 2009).

The versions share a basic design but differ in power, induction, electronics and emission rules. The right one is the one your car was built with, or the one your swap kit is made for.
