What is the difference between the Ford POWERSTROKE engines?

Ford 7.3 and 6.7 Power Stroke diesel engines for F-250 and F-350. We list: 7.3 Power Stroke (7.3 liter (7,274 cc), 205 kW (275 HP), 1994 to 2003); 6.7 Power Stroke (6.7 liter (6,653 cc), 354 kW (475 HP), 2011 to 2024).

The versions share a basic design but differ in power, induction, electronics and emission rules. The right one is the one your car was built with, or the one your swap kit is made for.

Before a unit is listed, the yard checks the engine code against the listing, writes down the parts fitted to it, seals every opening and photographs the real engine you will receive. If you want more photos or a short video of a unit, ask the desk and we send them before you pay.

Not sure? Send us your VIN and your gearbox code. We match the engine family, the year window and the parts on the engine before anything is reserved, and the check is free.
